The Way to Salvation

I'm so very glad that you chose to visit this page! I want you to know that there is nothing and I mean NOTHING too hard for God. Maybe you're in a situation that's too hard for yourself or maybe you're dealing with a habit that you've tried to break but find yourself powerless to do so; be encouraged, there is hope! It's my prayer that you read the contents of this page and discover the way to Salvation.

  • The first step on your way to salvation is realizing that God hates sin. Sin goes against the very word and nature of God; it opposes him in every way! In addition, you must understand that God has judged sin at the cross, and one day you will stand before God and give an account of your life according to God's precepts and those that are guilty of sin will be committed to eternal torment in hell. If you've lived a life of sin you must admit that you're a sinner and have violated the law or commandment of God. Consider these verses of Scriptures:
    • Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
    • 1 John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we decieve ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
    • 1 John 3:4 "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
    • Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death..."
    • Ezekiel 18:4 "Behold, all souls are mine;..the soul that sinneth, it shall die"
  • The next step on your way to salvation is understanding that even though you're a sinner: God hates sin not the sinner! That's right, God loves you and is concerned about your life and circumstance. Remember that God is love and he's standing ready to deliver you from your dilemma. It's because of God's love that your even alive. It's the love of God that allow you to navigate to this page so that he can demonstrate his love to you in a personal way. Consider these verses of Scriptures:
    • Lamentations 3:22 "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not."
    • Proverbs 10:12 "...Love covereth all sins."
    • 1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your care upon him: for he careth for you."
    • St. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life"
  • Now you must understand that Jesus Christ has paid the price for sin. Remember the penalty for sin is death, and Christ already died so that you wouldn't have to! Christ suffered a cruel death and shed his blood on the cross for you, and now all you have to do is accept by faith the sacrifice Christ made. In other words trust that Christ did all that was necessary to secure your deliverance and you will be saved. Consider these verses:
    • Romans 5:6, 8 "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But God commdeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
    • Romans 7:24-25 "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord."
    • Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
    • 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Why don't you pause a minute and repeat this prayer, you're making a committment to God to live his way and follow his commandments for the rest of your life. Lift your hands and repent, start by saying:
Lord, I'm sorry for everything I've done that was not like you. Forgive me for all of my sins. I acknowledge and believe that Christ died for me and that's he's my Lord and Savior. O Lord come into my life, and I promise to live for you for the rest of my life, Amen.
I want you to know that after you have prayed that prayer and meant it your are a born again child of God! Your past sins and failures are not imputed against you any longer. God is not holding them over your head and you don't have to either. After God has forgiven you, you must forgive yourself and move on in this life of righteousness.
  • Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation to the which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
  • 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
Now you must walk in the newness of life, but you may inquire "What do I do if I get tempted?" The answer is now you must receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. See, you have to understand that similar to covering food after its been cooked to keep it fresh is how the Holy Spirt is to a newly born again believer. He has to seal you with his presence and power so that you can have power against the temptations of the world and the devil. Consider these verses:
  • Acts 1:8 "But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me.."
  • Acts 2:4 "And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues (or languages), as the Spirit gave them utterance.
  • James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will fllee from you."
Listen, you do not have to be held captive by the habits that once held you bound. With the Holy Spirit comes power, and this power comes just by you asking. Why don't you lift your hand and simply ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. Afterwards email me at mr.cd2man@gmail.com and tell me about your born again experience. I want to hear from you!

Now go and walk in the newness of life and holiness. Congratulations on your conversion, go and tell others about it!
